Outlooks on Platform Science [Second Semester 2025, Tuesday 5th Period (mainly designed for first-year Master’s students)]

Overview and Aims:
This course deals with “platforms” that use information and communications technology (ICT) to digitize various forms of information throughout society, to gather such data widely, to accumulate it as big data, and to organize, analyze and share this big data. Students are introduced to cutting-edge topics in this area by professors of the Graduate School of Informatics, faculty in charge of the Distinguished Doctoral Program of Platforms, and speakers from outside the university.
